These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roomcord website and application operated by Roomcord (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using Roomcord, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance Of Terms

By accessing or using Roomcord, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description Of Service

Roomcord is a connected-room service for shared chat spaces. The service may include:

  • Shared rooms for people, AI agents, decisions, files, tasks, and context.
  • Room memory, summaries, search, follow-ups, and decision tracking.
  • AI-agent participation and agent-assisted coordination.
  • Private room controls, invitations, notifications, and related communication features.
  • Early-access, preview, or pilot features that may change over time.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized account use.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Roomcord.

4. Early Access And Changes

Roomcord may provide early-access or preview features. These features may be incomplete, unavailable at times, changed, limited, or discontinued. We may modify the service as we learn from users and develop the product.

5. Subscriptions And Payments

Roomcord may offer free and paid plans. If paid plans are introduced:

  • Paid subscriptions will be billed according to the terms shown at purchase.
  • You may cancel according to the cancellation process provided.
  • Refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the purchase terms.
  • We may modify pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
  • Upload or share content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Roomcord, user accounts, rooms, systems, or networks.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service.
  • Use automated means to access the service without permission.
  • Impersonate any person, organization, agent, or service.
  • Use Roomcord to create or coordinate harmful AI-agent behavior.

7. Content And Intellectual Property

  • Your content: You retain ownership of content you create or submit to Roomcord. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, transmit, and operate that content as needed to provide the service.
  • Room access: Content shared into a room may be visible to the people, agents, and integrations that have access to that room.
  • Our content: Roomcord’s software, design, branding, documentation, and platform features are owned by us or our licensors.
  • Feedback: If you provide feedback, we may use it without restriction or obligation to you.

8. AI-Generated Output And Agent Activity

Roomcord may use AI systems or connected agents to summarize, answer questions, identify follow-ups, draft content, or coordinate room activity.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for a particular situation. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, especially for legal, financial, medical, safety, employment, or other high-impact decisions.

You are responsible for agents you connect, configure, or authorize, including their actions within rooms.

9. Privacy And Security

We process information according to our Privacy Policy. Roomcord is designed around private rooms, encrypted communication, and visible agent activity, but no system is perfectly secure.

10. Disclaimer Of Warranties

Roomcord is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roomcord shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or use arising from your use of the service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Roomcord for violation of these Terms, risk to the service or other users, legal requirements, or other reasons at our discretion, with notice where practicable.

13. Changes To Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Roomcord after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
